AUTISM THROUGH VISUAL LENS
*Autism Awareness Day | 2nd April**
This year, our intention goes beyond awareness.
We aim to build true understanding.
Autism is not a single story.
It is not defined only by the few highly visible, high-functioning individuals often highlighted on social media.
Autism is a spectrum — an umbrella that includes a wide range of abilities, challenges, and co-occurring conditions.
Every child with autism brings unique strengths, different needs, and their own way of experiencing the world.
Through this initiative, we aim to create awareness around:
• What an autism diagnosis truly means
• The diverse challenges children and families experience
• The strengths and individuality of each child
• How society can move from awareness to acceptance to inclusion
We invite participants to engage in a simple yet powerful activity: **visual sketching**
Each participant will create a sketch representing their understanding, empathy, or message for autism.
**Share your voice:**
Post your sketch on social media using #icareforautism or #icare4autism
Tag the organization and help amplify the message
When many voices come together, they create a ripple effect — one that can shift perceptions, break myths, and build a more inclusive society.
Because awareness is the first step.
But acceptance and inclusion are the goal.
