Wild Warrior OCR Mountain Weekend

The primary races are our traditional Contender and Tribe events on the 29th of May, 2022 which will consist of a 3km course with 25 cool obstacles! The mountain course also involves 200m of elevation gain before a spectacular finish at a large ground near the summit of Mt. Adonai at an altitude above 2000m! The course consists of a mix of approx. 2km of road and 1km of trail and off-road! 

On Saturday, endurance buffs will be treated to the Mountain Edition of our Wildebeest race which will involve a 12km, 75 obstacle course with 600m of elevation gain! 

A special Time Trail event is also being held on Saturday for Contender participants which will involve a 400m course with 8 obstacles!

Friday, May 27th 

Arrivals in Kodaikanal

Saturday, May 28th 

7 am – Wildebeest (12km + 75 obstacles)

10 am – Time Trial (400m + 8 Obstacles)

Sunday, May 29th 

7 am – Contender Heats (3km + 25 obstacles)

8 am – Tribe Waves (3km + 25 obstacles)

10 am – Contender Women’s Final

10:30 am – Contender Men’s Final

11:30 am – Prize Distribution

Accommodation:

Our official hotel (200m from the start line) is the Country Club Valley Vista in Shenbaghanur, Kodaikanal. We have a special rate for all participants in the race but only limited rooms available, so hurry and book fast! Our package rate includes all 3 meals! 

International Everest Day

The Contender and Tribe races are co-incidentally being held on International Everest Day which marks the 69th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hilary’s and Tenzing Norgay’s first ascent of Mount Everest in 1953!

Altitude OCR World Series

Through our affiliation with the World Obstacle Federation, all finishers of our race will automatically qualify for the Altitude OCR World Series Finals in Morocco and the Altitude OCR World Championships being held at Everest Base Camp in Nepal in November, 2022!
