Jul 14 '23 | 03:00 PM (IST)

Event Information

As the economics of electric vehicles (EVs) continue to improve and new business models gain acceptance, India’s EV market is poised for significant growth in the coming decade. Amongst the key barriers to EV Adoption include technology cost, infrastructure availability and consumer behaviour. One of the hurdles for electric mobility transition that is less commonly discussed is financing, in terms of cost and capital required, for electric 2W and 3W.

Financing has gain importance after the government’s recent decision to reduce the FAME II subsidy on electric 2W to Rs.10,000/- per Kw from the current Rs.15,000/- .High interest and insurance rates, low loan-to-value ratios, and limited specialised finance options are some of the challenges that the end consumer faces.

The webinar on ‘Mobilizing Finance for EVs in India: Solutions, Risks and Barriers’, Scheduled for 14th July 2023 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm  will layout in detail the market opportunities, barriers, policy interventions to facilitate easy and convenient financing option to the end consumer.
