Welcome to the VOSA Alumni Box Cricket Tournament, where the spirit of camaraderie and competition brings together alumni from across the globe. This event is more than just a cricket tournament; it’s a celebration of our shared heritage, cherished memories, and the vibrant community that spans generations.

Key Highlights:

- Global Reunion: 34+ teams representing batches from 1991 to 2025, uniting 6,500 alumni from over 70 countries.

- Competitive Spirit: Engage in thrilling matches, from round-robin to knockouts, culminating in exciting quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.

- Family Festivities: A day filled with fun for the entire family, featuring kids play areas, an exhibition match between teachers and patrons, and diverse food stalls.

- Seamless Experience: Enjoy the game under well-lit turfs, with professional umpiring and real-time scoring, ensuring a top-notch cricketing experience.

This tournament is a tribute to the enduring bonds and lifelong friendships forged at BVB Vidyashram. It’s a chance to relive old memories, create new ones, and showcase the sportsmanship and unity that define our alumni community. Format of the Tournament

1. Minimum teams expected: 34

2. First round: round robin for each group, each team plays minimum 3 matches. (tentative)

3. Knockouts: top team from each group qualifies (Qtrs, Semis, Finals)

4. 2 Box Cricket Setup (80 x 50 x 25 ft) with lighting arrangement to be setup.

5. Live Scoring on CricHereos App. 

Tournament Rules

1. Number of players per team: 8

2. 6 overs per innings

3. 2 bowlers allowed to bowl 2 overs.

4. Maximum 40 mins per match

5. Super over in case of scores level.

6. For points level after group stage, team with higher NRR to go through.

7. Each team to consist players from same batch.

8. The Alumni (Bhavnite) needs to be a VOSA member to participate in the tournament. (If not a member, Please coordinate your Batch Coordinator) 

9. No limit on number of teams per batch.

Other Information

1. Exhibition matches for School Teachers, VOSA Women members, VOSA Patrons and Sponsors.

2. First aid counter shall be setup.

3. Food stalls with different cuisines at the venue on purchase.
