TRECHO brings to you our first Run Event in 2021- TRECHO Womanathon 2021 – Global Virtual Run Week - a salutation to all women who continue to make a difference in our lives.

TRECHO Womanathon 2021 - will be virtual and a weeklong celebration run during March 1 - 8, 2021. Let’s run to celebrate womanhood and encourage our near and dear to get into regular fitness.

As a Virtual run, you can run at a place near you and share the run recording with us via mail - trechorun@gmail.com. You are welcome to post your pics and results on the FB page of TRECHO as well.

We requests all runners to take the government guidelines seriously and take all precautions of:

• social distancing, • wearing a mask, • avoid large gatherings, etc.

We hope there is good news round the corner and that we will soon step out to conquer the roads again.

Starting 2015, TRECHO Womanathon has been an annual event celebrating the achievements of every TRECHO women runner - planned and organized by the men in the group.

Through TRECHO Womanathon 2020, TRECHO took its moto of "Fitter You Fitter Family Fitter Community ---- Fitter Nation" to reach out to more runners - both amateurs and elites - specifically women runners.

TRECHO presents to you the joy of being part of – Womanathon 2021, a Global Virtual Run Week run between 1 March (05:00) & 8 March 2021 (23:00).

E-bibs will reach you once you register for the event. The e-bib can be printed and worn during the runs.

TRECHO Womanathon 2021 bring you 2 sets of runs -

Single RUNS - These distances are to be completed as a single run on any one day during 1 - 8 March 2021. These runs are free for all women. The distance under this include:

42.2 km 21.1 km 10 km 5 km Fun Saree Run (2 mile)

Week RUNS - These run distances can be completed as multiple runs of specified distance through the week of 1 - 8 March 2021. TRECHO encourages all runners to complete the daily distance as a single run.

The various categories here include:

Diva – 5km * 8 days                         Iron Maiden – 10km * 8 days

Gladiatrix – 21.1km * 8 days             Amazon – 42km * 8 days

Steps of a Virtual Run:

1. Register after choosing the run category under the Virtual Run - Trecho Womanathon 2021.

2. Once you complete the registration process, we will share the e-bib with your details. You can print it and wear it on the run day.

3. The next step is to complete the registered distance on the event days – 1 (0500 hrs IST) - 8 March (2300 hrs IST) 2021.

i) The categories - 21.1 km/ 10 km/ 5 km/ Saree run (2 Mile) - are to be completed as a single run

ii) The week runs - Diva – 5km * 8 days; Iron Maiden – 10km * 8 days; Gladiatrix – 21.1km * 8 days; Amazon – 42km * 8 days - can be run as multiple runs through the week. Each run, covering the daily target prescribed should be recorded and the total to the week run registered for – shared as a daily recording.

4. The run can be completed at any location the runner chooses and they may choose to run, walk, either indoors or outside. The choice is completely up to the participant. 

5. The runners must and should record their run on a run app /watch. Once the run is completed the run timing and route map of the completed run is to be submitted via mail - info@trecho.in / trechorun@gmail.com – and posted on TRECHO Facebook – TrechoRun as well.

6. You shall receive an e-certificate with the run details provided by you.

7. MEDALS - Interested in receiving a beautiful finishers medal? - Just opt for the Medal while registering for the TRECHO Womanathon 2021 - Virtual Run and you will receive the medal at your postal address after receiving your run details. (KINDLY NOTE: The actual postage cost will be charged separately in addition to the medal cost for the runners within India. You will have to pay for the delivery of the medal, on receiving it.)
