Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival (Entry is Free)
The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival is set to return for its 7th edition from February 7 to 9, 2025 promising a vibrant celebration of global music and Rajasthan's cultural heritage. Conceptualised and produced by SEHER in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Government of Rajasthan and supported by Hindustan Zinc Ltd, this year’s festival centres around the theme “Preservation and propagation of forgotten musical instruments and traditions of Rajasthan” with a special focus on reviving the Sarangi. Featuring over 22 bands from 15+ countries including Argentina, Sweden, Spain, and Ivory Coast, alongside Indian talent like Shaan, Karsh Kale, Kanika Kapoor and many more, the festival offers a rich blend of international and local artistry. Spanning three iconic Udaipur venues—Manji ka Ghat, Fateh Sagar Paal, and Gandhi Ground—the event invites attendees to experience world-class music in stunning settings with free entry, ensuring accessibility for all.
The performances will take place across three iconic venues in Udaipur. Morning sessions will be held at Manji ka Ghat on February 8 and 9 from 8 AM to 10 AM. With views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and other heritage hotels, it offers a stunning setting, especially at sunrise and sunset. Afternoon performances will be at Fateh Sagar Paal on February 8 and 9 from 3 PM to 5 PM, known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings, making it an ideal spot to relax. Evening shows will be at Gandhi Ground from 6 PM to 10 PM on all three days. A central location for sports and cultural events, it’s a key destination for both locals and international visitors.
