As you learn to select, split and shape wood to your imagination, you begin to chisel away the unnecessary, revealing the bare & beautiful you, in full glory.

This is a process that is often therapeutic & soul filing in its own way.

About the Artist – Mr.Kumaran

He is a second-generation woodworker, trained from a young age, under the tutelage of his veteran father whose works decorate many Chettinad & Zamindari mansion in Tamil Nadu.

Mr.Kumar’s expertise include Antique furniture replica, restoration maintenance and contemporary interior design work

No previous experience is required. Applicable for all genders. This is not a profit-oriented workshop. We at Makers Tribe are genuinely trying hard to bring the makers momentum in Chennai. We need all your support to make it happen. Making is fun. Let's ignite the maker's culture in Namma Chennai.

Finishing Beginner Basics, lets you progress to Intermediate (Wall Decors) and Advanced (Furniture) workshops that will happen in the following months.
