The Wild Trails

Simalu Festival is a celebration of nature, adventure and wilderness, held beneath the blooming Simalu trees of the Laokhuwa–Burachapori Wildlife Sanctuary, under the Kaziranga Tiger Reserve.

For two days, this otherwise restricted forest landscape will open exclusively for runners and cyclists, offering a rare opportunity to experience its pristine beauty. As part of this celebration, Laokhuwa–Burachapori Wildlife Sanctuaries will host THE WILD TRAILS – 32 KM Trail Run and Cyclothon.

The Wild Trails is more than a race, it is an invitation to step into a world few ever get to see. A 32 km trail deep inside a highly protected forest, where entry itself is a privilege.

For two days only, the gates open,for the runners, for the cyclists.

No traffic....No horns...No crowds...

Only silence, broken by the rhythm of footsteps, spinning wheels and the songs of countless birds.

Participants will run and ride through untouched forest trails, glide beneath ancient Simolu trees and breathe air so pure it feels unreal. Every turn reveals a secret and every kilometre draws you deeper into a landscape untouched by the outside world.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime escape into raw, living wilderness. A rare chance to say, “I’ve run where almost no one else has.”

Age Limit:- Participant must be at least 16 years old on 15th February 2026 (i.e., born on or before 15th February 2010).”

Cut Off Time  :- 6 Hours 30 Mins 

Gears  :- This is a Trail Run with Forest trails ( Dirt and earth tracks) Hence we suggest all participants to use Trail Running Shoes 

Registration Last Date :- 7th February 2026 till 17:00 Hrs ( No late entry request will be entertained)
