The Urbania Virtual Summer Fest 2020

There is much to be said for the resilience of the human spirit and even in these tough, uncertain times, we prevail. At Rustomjee Urbania, our residents may be in lockdown, but this is one place where the ‘fun’ never sets. We are continuing our grand tradition of having a summer camp for the kids and ensuring that they get their dose of summer fun. In keeping with the credo of our Leon’s World Centre of Holistic Development and Learning, this year’s line-up of online events will ensure that the children have ‘fun while learning.’

This year’s Summer Fest is going to be a wonderful kaleidoscope of stories, books and family time. Experience the magic as amazing narrators and authors enthrall you with their tales that will spark your imagination. The repertoire of ‘story-smiths’ include Ashok Rajagopalan and Sandhya Rao of Tulika Publication; Vikram Sridhar, the Story Telling Fellow; Madhuri kale, Magical Whispers; Satish Desa, Wag Tales; Falguni Jha and Utkarsha Kotian.

Across the weekend, from the 22nd of May – 24th of May, not just kids but families can go online and experience the joys of the written word as interpreted by these stalwarts. Moreover, children can explore their own literary skills in the form of Book Reviews, while families can join in Play a Book and the Family Quiz.

Keeping it ever ‘thoughtful’, Rustomjee is making the Urbania Virtual Summer Fest open to all – residents, non-residents and kids of all ages!
