The Outsider Moving Arts & Film Festival has reached Kota! On this Thursday ( 2nd December ) & Saturday ( 4th December ), they will be organising film screenings & interactive sessions at Art Gallery, near KST in Nayapura, Kota
The art & film festival is a project by Hers is Ours which is a collective based in India that works on the issue of Violence Against Women, and gender discrimination at large.
This ticket is valid for both events - 2nd December & 4th December.

Film Screenings and Discussions
Machher Jhol (10 mins) - an animated short film about the conversation between a son and his father over a meal of fish curry.
Devi (20 mins) - the story of an upper class urban young girl and her relationship with their househelp.
Escaping Agra (20 mins) - Naveen Bhat chronicles their experience of being illegally detained in Agra, India after their gender orientation is discovered.
Lata (20mins) - a film about the life of a domestic worker in an upper class home in Mumbai.
Storytelling and musical performance by Nikita and Anal (30 mins)

Film Screenings and Discussions
Clemente (30 mins) - a personal documentary about the lives of women and what Feminism meant in France post World War II.
Nasrin (90 minutes) - an immersive portrait of one of the world's most courageous human rights activists and political prisoner, Nasrin Sotoudeh, from Iran.
Musical performance incorporating Tibetan Sound Healing and Baul Techniques by Nikita (30 minutes)
The film screenings and sessions in Kota will be free to attend.
The events are organized in collaboration with Kota City Blog & Kota Heritage Society.
