Everyone's talking about the wins. Nobody's talking about what it costs. The Dark Side of Startups is an evening of quiet questions.
The Dark Side of Startups An evening by Edock
The Dark Side of Startups is an evening where founders, builders, and operators come together to have the conversations startup culture keeps avoiding. The burnout, the identity loss, the decisions made under pressure, and the quiet question most people carry but never say out loud.
No keynotes. No pitch decks. No performed success.
What's happening on the night
The evening is built around one idea: the room decides everything.
Before the event begins, attendees pin their real failures anonymously on a Wall of Failure at the entrance. Behind the scenes, the Edock team reads every single one and quietly builds the discussion topics from what the room is actually carrying that night. When the poll goes live, the options aren't random. They came from you.
From there, a live debate on the topic the room chooses, a question card exchange where you answer a stranger's question (that somehow feels exactly like yours), and a closing hour of some social interactions.
