The Bishop's MUN, Pune

The Bishop’s MUN, a diplomatic simulation of the United Nations, is one of Pune’s eminent school level conferences for students. It is a platform for students to not only keep up with the global issues but also parallel the real world leaders and attempt to find solutions for the same. The Bishop’s MUN is an extensive learning experience that pushes students to challenge their abilities to perfect their skill set. 

It is a platform that leaves students better equipped with leadership abilities and public speaking and problem solving skills that endure a lifetime, cumulated over the course of two days.

Conference Fee : INR 2000* (excludes online transaction fees)

*Charges applicable for late registration.

The registration fee includes:

• Lunch and High Tea on both days of the conference.
• Entry to the State Dinner on the 14th of December ,2019.
• A delegate kit
• Training sessions 
• Study guides and Memorandums
• Participation certificate
• A souvenir

The accommodation fee only includes:

• Hotel Stay for 3 nights (INR 4000 on triple occupancy basis)
• Breakfast for 3 days.
• The accommodation will be provided in a three star level hotel.

The Committees for the conference are:

1. GA1(DISEC)- Discussing the prevention of arms race in outer space.

2. GA2(ECOFIN)- The role of the international community in the prevention of radiation threat in Central Asia.

3. GA3(SOCHUM)- discussing the cause of conflict and promotion of peace and sustainable development in Africa.

4. GA4(SPECPOL) - Discussing the socio-economic interests of the people of the non self-governing territories.

5. UNHRC- Discussing the human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.

6. ECOSOC - Discussing the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development with emphasis on SDGs.

7. WHO- Discussing the global plan of action for Children's environmental health.

8. UNCTAD- Discussing the Global Strategy and Plan of action on public health, Innovation and Intellectual property.

• All details provided by the participants shall be kept confidential.
• Country and committee allocation shall be sent to the participant on the email address provided by him/her, within 30 days from the date of registration. In the event of the participant not receiving the mail, the same should be notified to The Bishop's Model United Nations immediately.
• Allocation once made shall be final and any request made for a change of the same shall not be entertained.
