Hey Climbers/Trekkers, would you like to climb the walls of Tailbaila, the famous watch towers in Ancient times. Give it a try to climb 1 side of the great walls and feel the thrill.
Let the climbing adrenaline rush in you. 

Tailbaila is basically a watch tower built to guard over the Savashni Ghat, Vaghjai Ghat near Pali. It consists of two rock walls, the left and the right clearly differentiated by the col in between. The rock walls of Tailbaila offer great rock climbing site for climbers & trekkers who are about to start technical climbs.
There are four sides of Tailbaila, extreme right, left side of right wall, extreme left & right side of left wall. For easy understanding we named those four sides as Side 1, Side 2, Side 3, Side 4 .


EVENT FOR SIDE 1 (Left side wall in Col): After simple trek of 25 min we reach col of Tailbaila from where climb for Side 1.

Tailbaila Side 1: Easiest one among all four sides, requiring only 45 min to reach summit. Rope is already fixed, you just have to anchor yourself and show climbing skills as per instructions and guidance to reach the top. Further you’ll be rappelling down to return to Col base.

SCHEDULE:

5:00 am: Pickup from Shivaji Nagar (Lokmangal, Bank of Maharashtra)

5:30 am: Pickup from Wakad

MUMBAI participants can join the event at Lonavala Station.

8.00 AM Reach Tailbaila Village

8:30Am : Breakfast

Pleasant Trek to Tailbaila Col.

Start Climbing Side 1

Reach summit, Photography

Rappelling to descend down,

Refreshments or Packed lunch

Wind up all equipment gears, group photo,

Late Lunch or Dinner at base village,

return journey to Pune.
