Startup Master Class by Alumni Association IIT Kanpur Pune Chapter

Startup Master Class (SMC), is a professional networking event by Alumni Association IIT Kanpur. Following the lead taken by the Bengaluru chapter of AA IITK, SMC has spread to other locations over time. SMC is targeted towards promoting entrepreneurship in India by creating and fostering an ecosystem for entrepreneurs, mentors and investors alike. 

This year's edition of SMC is well on the way to become the most important event in Pune. 

Like last year, Pune chapters of alumni associations of various IITs, led by AA IIT Kanpur Pune Chapter are organizing SMC. This year's offering is being presented in collaboration with Fundhound and NASSCOM, who are working alongside towards making the event a grand success.

Key highlights of the event are.

• Inauguration by Chief Guest, Mr. Manohar Parrikar, Honourable Chief Minister of Goa

• Keynote address by member of the delegation from Japan

•  Mr. Baba Kalyani (Chairman & MD Bharat Forge), Mr. Kunal Kumar (Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation) are invited to be part of Panel Discussions

• The event will have Multiple Discussion Tracks that include FinTech, EdTech, Internet of Things, Social Enterprises & HealthTech for which CEOs and Founders of startups, established companies, venture funds, CSR foundations have confirmed participation

• Altius Ventures, Ankur Capital, Artha India Ventures, Culture, Equanimity, Guild Capital, IvyCap Ventures, Kae Capital, Kalaari Capital, Lead Angels, Matrix Partners, Nirvana Venture Advisors, ORIOS Venture Partners, Qualcomm Ventures, Unicorn India Ventures have confirmed their presence at SMC

• RingAI.jp is co-organizing the event by way of providing sponsorhip to the event and tracks. An important highlight of this collaboration is the RingAI Startups Competion under which 5 prizes are on offer. The winners will also receive free incubation, and opportuinties to participate in road-shows in Japan
