Sinhgad Vertical Kilometer Run 2026

A Vertical Kilometer (VK) is a challenging uphill mountain race gaining 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) of elevation in a short distance, typically under 5-6 km, often featuring steep, technical terrain. Trekking poles are allowed as optional accessories, are often used in vertical kilometer races.

Get ready for a rugged challenge near Sinhgad Fort! This mix of steady climbs and technical, rocky outcrops will test your agility on every descent. Please note: no medical certificate is required for this event, so we ask that you take full responsibility for your safety and recognize the risks involved. Train hard and come prepared so you can truly conquer the trail!
