Shrivant Singh is an Indian singer-songwriter who spent a year in Chennai as part of A.R. Rahman’s Sufi ensemble before going on to study at Berklee College of Music, where he was a Songwriting major. During his time in Chennai, he performed in concert settings and collaborated with musicians including Javed Ali.
At Berklee, he was a member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble and contributed as a musician to the ensemble’s album Shuruaat, which received a Grammy Award nomination. He also performed with artists including Shreya Ghoshal in Boston, as well as Indian Ocean and Shadow and Light, and was part of A.R. Rahman’s band during his time at Berklee.
Following his graduation, he worked as a composer for advertising projects before focusing on his artist releases.
Shrivant’s debut single with Sony Music India, titled Shifa, marked his first official release with the label. He is currently working on his next release while continuing to develop original material and collaborations.
