World Storytelling Day is a global celebration of the art of oral storytelling. It is celebrated every year on the March equinox, on (or near) March 20. On World Storytelling Day, as many people as possible, tell and listen to stories in as many languages and at as many places as possible, during the same day and night. Participants tell each other about their events in order to share stories and inspiration, to learn from each other and create international contacts.
In keeping with the theme of ‘Voyages’, the Secret Passages story tellers will take us through stories of exploration, courage and discovery. Be prepared to join adventurers, young and old, as they voyage to the farthest reaches of the world. See how they dig deep into their deepest reserves of courage and perseverance to face challenges and overcome their fears.
Each of the Secret Passages story tellers, Geetanjali Shetty Kaul, Saurin Desai, Anuradha Rohra, Shilpa Shah, Archana Bora, will narrate a story curated by them under the theme “voyages”. These stories will share the moments of exquisite reward and insight, in times when we are racked by self-doubt and problems and perhaps, offer us a chance to learn and grow and reach for our dreams.
