ABOUT THE PROGRAM :-
Across the globe, leadership has become a subject of serious discussion, study and research. Universities now have centers of leadership. The number of books written on leadership has been growing rapidly.
Chanakya was a rare mastermind who became an expert in varied and specialized fields like management, economics, politicals, law, leadership, strategy, finance, business management and several others. He has documented his wisdom in a book called Kautilya's Arthashastra which includes 6000 formulas. In that one formula talks about the 7 pillars of leadership.

“Swami Amatya, Janapada, Durga, Kosha, Danda, Mitra iti Prakritaya”
“The king, the minister, the ciitzens, the fortified city, the treasury, the army and the ally - these are the constituent elements of the kingdom” (Kautilya’s Arthashastra 6.1.1)
1) SWAMI स्वामी (The Leader)
2) AMATYA अमात्य ( The Managers)
3) JANAPADA जनपद (The Market / Client / Customer)
4) DURG दुर्ग (The Head Office)
5) KOSHA कोष (Finance)
6) DANDA दण्ड (The Team)
7) MITRA मित्र (The Ally/ Friend / Consultant)
The whole leadership development program is based on the Saptanga model of Chanakya from the Kautilya’s Arthashastra. This is a leadership model used in our ancient Indian tradition to lead and manage a kingdom. We will be using this to lead our organizations and develop leadership qualities.

                                                                                 SWAMI

Who is a leader? Why does Chanakya place so much emphasis on a leader?
Most of us think of a leader as a person with a particular designation and post - the Chairman or CEO of a company, the captain of a sports team, the dean of an educational institution or the general of an army. These are leaders no doubt.
However, certain other attributes are required to make one a "great leader", a leader who is productive, result oriented, inspiring. One may get a leadership chair(position) by heredity, power or influence. But if one is not capable, the chair will not keep him. Leadership position itself comes with great responsibilities and handling that responsibility you will need leadership qualities.
Therefore in this you will get to know what are the qualities of an ideal leader and how anyone can build that qualities.

                                                                              AMATYA

In Kautilya's Arthashastra, the importance of a minister is emphasized repeatedly. In fact, Chapter 8 in Book 1 is titled Amatyautpatti, meaning "appointment of ministers".
Who is an amatya? He can be called a mantri or a minister. His counterpart in the corporate world is the manager. There is a difference, yet there are similarities between leaders and managers. Depending on the context, every leader is a manager for someone and every manager is a leader for someone else.
Let us take an example. The CEO of a company is the leader. If the vice-president (VP) of the company manages a part ot the work for the CEO, the VP becomes the minister or manager. However, the VP is also a leader to his team members. His subordinates, such as the assistant vice-president, becomes his ministers.

                                                                               DURG
The fourth pillar consist of forts which was very important in the ancient time. Forts were located at strategic points, such as mountaintops or the coast, and helped the king to keep a lookout for enemies. Every operations of the kings were directly connected and handled from his fort.
Every organisation need to have well thought out infrastructure that includes both the physical and digital realms. So Durga deals with enabling people to perform by taking out obstructions. It is about facilitating people with work; which the right tools and the right infrastructure. It is also involved ensuring Data integrity.
So building your infrastructure (head office) based on physical and digital form is very important, so you can efficiently handle your business operations. So how to build your strong head offices.

                                                                              KOSHA
Chanakya has said, the first task of a king is to focus on the acquisition, growth and expansion of the treasury. Kosha is necessary to keep the kingdom going. The finance maintains the kingdom and helps in its growth and expansion.
Every leader should manage his finance very efficiently. Chanakya says, the 'koshadhyaksha' or finance head , must bring daily financial reports and inform the king about financial condition. 'Artha' is wealth and 'shastra' is scripture.
Therefore Arthashastra itself means the scripture of wealth. Chanakya has given many formulas on managing finance in Arthashastra. Soo you will get to know are that formulas.

                                                                             DANDA
The sixth pillar of a kingdom is the army. It showcases the power of a country and protects the citizens from external threats. An army is a trained group of people that is ready to fight any threat.
In modern days, the army is the employees of your business. They should be well trained to be a leader and take the responsibilities. The leader should efficiently manage his business army.
In Arthashastra, Chanakya has given many formulas on how you can manage your business army and how you can take 100% benifit out of it.

                                                                              MITRA
Mitra, a word commonly used in all Indian languages, means a friend, colleague or partner. It forms the last pillar of Chanakya's Seven Pillars model. He is the friend, philosopher, expert and guide. You can depend upon him and he is true to you.
The story of Mahabharata illustrate the importance of choosing the right advisor at the right time. This seventh pillar can change the dynamics of any game. A friend can make you or break you completely. You should always have an expert or mentor around you.
Chanakya says, never goo for war alone, take a friend along with you. But choosing right advisor is most important as Chanakya says, he can make you or break you.
Therefore you will get to know how you should choose right advisors.
