RUPAIYA Comedy Stage Play

After a housefull show, Hindi Comedy Play, RUPAIYA is back on public demand. Watch this crazy family musical comedy on 12th July, 2019 at Delhi's most prestigious auditorium Shri Ram Centre in Mandi House, Delhi. This Hindi adaptation of celebrated French playwright Moliere's evergreen comedy 'The Miser' made an impact with its premiere show on 15th June'19. Receiving an overwhelming response, the producers were delighted to witness an overbooked show last time and this show is specially for the love the audience showered.

Brief about the story-

Seth Dhannamal is obsessed with the wealth he has amassed over the years and is always ready to curtail his expenses. Now a widower, he has a son and a daughter. Although he is over sixty, but he is attempting to arrange a marriage between himself and an attractive young woman.

In the meanwhile, the son attempts to procure a loan to help the same girl whom his father wants to marry and even Seth Dhannamal's hopes to marry his daughter to a wealthy man of his choice are going in vain, as the daughter's lover takes a job as steward in Seth’s household so as to be close to his love.

The complications are only resolved at the end by the rather conventional discoveries. Sattire and farce blend in this fast-moving plot, as & when Sethji’s hoard is stolen. The characters give life to this story with never ending punches and drama.
