For the first time in India, Edify Sports has curated a novel 700 km + cycling route for you on the world's highest motorable road at Umling La (pass) at 19,300 feet height in Ladakh region in the Himalayas. Explore the pristine land of Buddhism like never before.

Event Itinerary:

• Day 1: Leh Arrival
• Day 2: Acclimatize, Stroll around Leh, Prepare and Briefing on the Itinerary
• Day 3: Leh to Chumathang - 135 kms approx. (Enjoy natural hot water springs) 
• Day 4: Chumathang to Hanle - 114 kms approx
  (Visit world's 3rd highest Astronomical Observatory at 14800 ft atop Mt. Saraswati in Hanle, and visit Hanle monastery) 
  
• Day 5: Han le to Photile village - 57 kms approx (Camping at Photile) 
  
• Day 6: Photile to Umling La & back to Photile - 105 kms approx 
  
• Day 7: Photile to Han le - 57 kms approx 
  
• Day 8: Hanle - Chumathang - 114 kms approx 
• Day 9: Chumathang to Leh - 135 kms approx. 
• Day 10: Departure from Leh

Note:

• Your bicycle should be only MTB cycles, with gears (No road bikes, hybrid bikes, city bikes, touring bikes); should have hydraulic brakes & a front suspension.
• The list things to be carried by cyclists shall be shared upon registration.
• Please check if your Life Insurance policy includes the clause of death by Adventure Sports. If not, you need to buy the Adventure Sports Policy separately from any of the providers.
• The Indemnity form shall be mailed to you separately. Please sign it and send back the soft copy on mail within 2 days. And submit the hard copy before the expedition begins. Non-submission of hard copy shall lead to disqualification of the rider from the expedition and the paid amount shall be forfeited.

In case of cancellation of the event:

- If your participation is cancelled by you, the amount paid shall be forfeited.

- If the event is cancelled by the organisers, the entire amount paid shall be refunded, and any kits distributed shall be taken back.

- If the event is cancelled because of force majeure or Covid restrictions, 15% of the amount paid shall be deducted and the rest shall be refunded.

  Border Roads Organization (BRO) has constructed the world’s highest motorable road in the Ladakh UT, passing through Umling La Top at a height of over 19,300 feet. The feat was achieved under “Project Himank" of the BRO. Being close to Hanle, the 86-km-long strategic road through Umling La Top connects Chisumle and Demchok villages, located 230km from Leh..
