About this trip -
Day 1 - Cycle Odyssey (Mantra Surf Club) to Pinto Gardens Ride Distance - 25 - 30kms
We start the ride from Cycle Odyssey (Mantra Surf Club) around 2:00 P.M, We advise you to have a light lunch prior to this. If you haven't had lunch we can stop along the way at a nice restaurant but please do note that lunch is not covered in the itinerary. Mulki is a small beautiful coastal town situated near Mangalore. It is known for a unique mix of adventure and culture. In this trip, we will take you in and around this beautiful village. You will ride along the backwaters of River Shambhavi, You will visit some of the very old and famous and ancient temples with plenty of history and value, You will also see some peacocks along the way if you are lucky!
The daily life of the people here is very interesting and you will witness all of these things the best way possible - on a bicycle! You will have an experienced local guide through the journey who will not only take you all around the village but will also be there for you and the safety of the bike. We carry tools to fix bikes on the go and carry a basic first aid kit if there is a small fall or a scratch, We will take care of that on the go as well. We avoid main roads and roads with traffic, so you will be riding safe and will enjoy the more scenic and pristine part of the village.
We will then go to the beautiful Pinto Gardens, where you will feel as if you are in the wild! A big 18 acre land of complete beauty will make you feel like you are away from the civilization! Here we will camp for the night. However, we will have all the facilities like swimming pool, proper washroom facilities and changing rooms. Here, you will also be served nice authentic Mangalorean vegetarian food for dinner. After which we will take the much-needed rest.
Day - 2 - Pinto Gardens to Cycle Odyssey (Mantra Surf Club) Riding Distance - 10 - 15kms
Today, we will wake up early and go for a walk around Pinto Garden. They have beautiful trees and plants that have been brought from different countries and you may sometimes even find some exotic birds that are migrating.
After the walk, we will have our breakfast, again a nice vegetarian local breakfast and get ready to head out by 7 AM We will take a shorter way back today and ride about 10 - 15kms and arrive at Cycle Odyssey (Mantra Surf Club) by 8 or 8:30 AM where we end our ride.
Note: Drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited while you camp with us.
