Varanasi, Mahashivratri Photo Tour Day 1

16 Feb : Varanasi

Participants will be picked up from the railway station/ Airport in a Car Arrive at pre-booked hotel at at 12pm Varanasi unpack have tea and get ready for a warm-up shoot around the streets and ghats of Varanasi and Evening Aarti and activities in and around Ghats of Ganges. As the entire ghat region can be accessed only by walk so be ready to walk a long distance we will take breaks in between for snacks and lunch (depending on the place we will be at the particular time). The evening before sunset we will take a boat ride to photograph ghats and activities from the Ganges that is Assi Ghat till Dashashmedh ghat during the beautiful sunset followed by Ganga aarti which is a beautiful experience and to shoot Videos(Shorts) and Photos In the night a small 30 minutes briefing session on the tour and what we will be doing for next 2 days. Briefing session will happen every day with seeing and discussing images and footage shots.

Day 2

17 Feb : Varanasi Morning - before sunrise we will go on the ghats and photograph morning rituals and Subh a Banaras and yoga that happens on ASSI Ghat and then take boat ride for pictures return to hotel for breakfast after a short rest we will start again at around 11pm and shoot from lanes till Assi Ghat as the lanes will be crowded as a day before shiv ratri there will be innumerable opportunities to photograph the images or videos (Shorts) that would stay with you in your portfolio.

Day 3

18 Feb : Varanasi(Shiv Ratri Festival) Those who don't want to tag along in the morning can rest others can join to shoot early morning sunrise and activities around the ghats as the day of Shivratri there will be lot of crowed and various rituals happening in and around the ghats. The morning procession which starts at 12pm from Tilbhandeshwar Temple to Gauri Kedareshwar Temple is one of the things to photograph. The major attraction of the celebration will be Shiv Baaraat (wedding procession of Lord Shiva) which passes through major routes of the city taking along hundreds of devotees and worshippers in its midst. Trained performers play the role of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and roam around the city giving their blessing to the people. Apart from the central protagonists, a host of other artists dressed as gods and goddesses also make an appearance in the procession donned in their respective dresses. Dances, religious songs into the procession.

Day 4

19 Feb:- Packup and leave back to railway station drop or Airport at around 10am
