
Parivartan Annual Grant (2024-25) - Final Presentation
ABOUT PARIVARTAN -
Parivartan is a Research Initiative for the Performing Arts, aims to stimulate research between the arts and allied fields like engineering, technology, architecture, science, mathematics, medicine - to name a few. It focuses on instilling critical and lateral thinking amongst performing artists. This platform has been created to enable innovative ways to make the arts more accessible and relevant for the future for scholars and practitioners of the arts alike. This initiative was started by Shreya from SNS Arts Development Consultancy and Priya Murle from Sri Silambam Academy of Fine Arts.
This years Selected Grantees and their works are -
1. Bilal Ahmed Pandow - Preserving Kashmir's Santoor Craftsmanship: Linking Cultural Heritage with Financial Sustainability for Future Generations
2. Meghna Roy Choudhury - Research and Writing process of a new play inspired by the Holographic Principle
3. Parvathi Muthuswamy - Sustaining Kai Silambaṭṭam: An Interdisciplinary Study of Cultural Patronage, Ritual Practice, and Economic Challenges in a Tamil Dance Tradition
