Lucia is a vocalist, educator, and mentor from Nagaland, India, whose artistry is rooted in R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz, and Jazz Fusion. Her musical journey took her to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she attended on scholarship and earned a degree in Vocal Performance.
Following her studies, Lucia built a dynamic performance career. She recorded jingles for national radio and television campaigns in India and shared the stage with renowned artists including Tata Vega, Joey Blake, Rhiannon, Larry Watson, and John Blackwell through her association with the Prince Ensemble. She also performed with Bill Banfield’s Jazz Urbane at leading venues and festivals such as Scullers Jazz Club and the BeanTown Jazz Festival.
Alongside her work as a performer, Lucia developed a strong commitment to music education and mentorship. She has trained and guided singers through institutions including GMI, Blue Notes School of Music, and The British School, helping students refine their craft and pursue higher music studies internationally.
Building on her experience in both performance and education, Lucia became a founding member of Artistes Unlimited and later established Phoenix Anthology, an initiative dedicated to promoting musical diversity and creating opportunities for artists in Nagaland.
