Mandala is derived from a Sanskrit word "Mandal" which means Circle. It depicts the universe.
Mandalas have a spiritual significance and drawing them is extremely calming, meditative and therapeutic. Drawing mandalas is known to relieve stress and anxiety.
The world is going through a tough time and the lockdown has an impact on our mental health as well. Drawing a mandala not only calms and soothes you, but it also helps you collect your thoughts and emotions.
In this workshop, we will draw a mandala together. You will learn how to draw a mandala from scratch and also, how to make the process meditative. You will learn how to divide the circle to make grids, how to make simple but beautiful patterns and how to draw them uniformly, some tips and tricks to draw a neat mandala and how to focus on drawing the patterns to feel relaxed and calm.
