Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
All swimmers must be able to swim at least 2km in open water comfortably and must use a tow float
(mandatory).
Non-swimming companions may join but are not permitted to swim.
2.Safety & Compliance
Swimmers must follow instructions given by the Swim Organizers, safety crew, lifeguards, and boat
personnel at all times.
Organizers reserve the right to stop a swimmer from continuing if safety is at risk.
3.Risk Acknowledgement
Open-water sea swimming involves inherent risks, including currents, tides, marine life, dehydration,
and fatigue.
By registering, participants acknowledge that they are swimming at their own risk and release the
Swim Tribe organizing team, volunteers, and partners from liability for injury, loss, or damage.
By registering, the participant confirms they consider themselves fit to partake in the swimming
sessions.
4.Disclaimer
All participants will be required to sign an online or a form-based disclaimer before the start of the
swims.
Any non-swimming companions who accompany swimmers on the support boat must also sign the
disclaimer.
Failure to complete this will result in the participant (or companion) being unable to take part.
5.Local Travel & Transport
The organizers will not provide transport to the venue or local transfers.
Participants are responsible for making their own travel and local transport arrangements.
6.Refunds
No cancellations, but tickets may be transferred to another willing participant
7.Event Cancellations
In case of cancellation due to adverse weather, unswimmable sea conditions, or Force Majeure
events, organizers will not be held liable.
If the event is forced to be canceled due to the above:
50% of the amount will be refunded if no swims take place on the event days.
25% of the amount will be refunded if one swim takes place but the other is cancelled.
If by 15th September 2025 the number of signups does not meet the minimum participants required
for the event to be viable, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the event. In such cases,
participant fees will be refunded after deducting payment gateway charges incurred at the time of
signup.
8.Accommodation
Participants are responsible for arranging and booking their own accommodation directly with hotels
or resorts.
Swim Tribe will not be involved in booking or managing stay arrangements.
When booking accommodation, we recommend staying at or near Aqua Outback for convenience.
This is only a suggestion — the final decision rests entirely with you as a participant.
We have negotiated a discounted price with Aqua Outback (https://aquaoutback.com/). To avail this,
please mention “Swim Tribe” as your reference at the time of booking if you wish to stay with them.
9.Meals & Inclusions
The event package includes 2 meals (1 breakfast & 1 meal) at Aqua Outback.
Any additional food or personal expenses are to be borne by participants.
10.Health & Fitness
By registering, participants declare they are in good health and physically fit to swim.
Any medical conditions must be disclosed in advance to the organizers.
11.Equipment
Tow floats are mandatory. A limited number of tow floats will be available for rent at ₹200 for the
entire duration of the event (subject to availability).
