Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences is set to host Bar Takeover 1.0 in collaboration with Arpan Nandi, Brand Ambassador – Diageo. Designed as an immersive evening of modern mixology, handcrafted cocktails, and relaxed indulgence, the event is poised to offer guests a refreshing new take on Kolkata’s evolving bar culture. Recognised across the industry for his deep understanding of spirits and creative approach to mixology, Arpan Nandi will be curating a line-up of signature cocktails that bring together bold ingredients, innovative techniques, and global inspiration. Featured cocktails for the evening include the Shrub County (Johnnie Walker Black Label, apple cinnamon shrub, saline), Kolkata Mary (Ketel One with clarified tomato mix), Gin Voyager (Tanqueray with yuzu, lemongrass and coco caramel foam), and the Peri Peri Paloma (Don Julio Blanco, grapefruit, Italian bitters, and peri peri spice). To complement the cocktail showcase, Executive Chef Vikram Jaiswal will present an exclusive hi-tea table will be set up at Sante – The Bar for guests to enjoy. The offerings will include Sundal Salad, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Lamb Pizzette and White Forest Cake that will combine well with Arpan Nandi’s signature cocktails.
