09:45 PM Meet at Borivli National Park.

10:00 PM settled down in Vehicles so we can start our journey towards pachnai Village.

01:30 AM Reach Kasara. Freshen up halt.

05:30 AM start our journey towards Pachnai village.

04:00 AM Reach Pachnai village. Freshen Up.

05:00 AM Get ready for the trek.

08:00 AM Reach on the top of the fort. Will take decision as per situation and then will move towards either taramati / Kokankada to see indravajra(Depends on weather condition)

08:00 AM Enjoy sunrise at kokankada or taramti.

09:00 AM After breakfast move towards Harishchandreshwar Temple, Kedareshwar Ling, Ganesh Guha. After exploration start descending towards base village pachnai.

01:00 PM Reach base village. Freshen up, have our lunch and start our return journey towards Mumbai.

9:45 PM Borivli National Park Gate – Malad Oberoi Mall – Andheri Flyover end – Bandra kalanagar Signal - Sion lunch home below bridge – Dadar TT circle – Ghatkopar – Vikroli – Bhandup Pumping Station - Airoli Circle - Mc-D - Rabale – Kharghar - Mc-D Kalamboli.

- Adhar Card (Identity Proof)

- 3 to 4 Ltr’s of water Bottle

- Cap / Hat, Glares, Buff (Optional), Hiking Pole(optional).

- One Torch. (Compulsory).

- Extra Pair of cloths.

- Some ready eat food like plum cake, biscuits, fruits Paratha/Thepala/Boiled Eggs/Dates Etc. (Compulsory)

- Glucon-D or Electrolytes (Compulsory)

- Cloths – Wear Full Sleeve Tshirt and Track Pant.(Note – This is because of you are going into a jungle and in summer season a lot of reptiles, insects roaming in jungle so for your safety purpose please try to wear Full t-shirt and track pant.

- Hiking or Trekking Shoe’s / sports shoe. (Please Don’t wear branded shoe like nike, adidas they are not useful for sahyadri terrain. As per our experience sole of that shoe’s got teared during the trek.)

• Cancellation will be calculated of overall tour cost, not against paid advance.

• Cancellations prior to 30-days from the start of the event. — 30% retained

• Cancellation before 15 days to the start of the event. — 50% retained.

• Cancellation before week to the start of the event. — 60% retained.

• Cancellation a 3 days to the start of the event. — No refund.

Covid-19 cancellation Policy:

• He/She needs to provide ICMR/Govt lab approved report in such case 100% of the tour cost will be refunded. (Travel cost will be deducted as per cancellation policy.)

• Due to medical emergency in Family / Quarantine tour cost will be adjusted in next available dates/tour. (Travel cost will be deducted as per cancellation policy.)

• State wise Regulation / Govt Regulation in such case cost will be adjusted in next available dates/tour.

• (Note:- If schedule has been cancelled due to Govt regulation, natural calamity, less booking or any other issue by “Offbeat Wanderers” will refund the amount or as per confirmation will adjust in next trek)

Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited. Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories” The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained. Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. The club will not be responsible for injury / accident to the participant while on trek.

Ans: Driving distance from Mumbai 205km and Pune 161km with around 5/6 hrs driving. Trekking distance around 12-13 km round trip with paachnai route.

Ans: This trek can be done through multipal route which graded Moderate to Difficult and easy catagory such as Naalichi vaat, Makad naal, Sadhade ghat and Medium graded Tolar khind mostly known as khireshwar route, Junner Darwaja or Rajmarg, Bail dara, Vetaldhar, Ganesh dhar and easy grade paachnai route through with kids and elders can also reach on top in 2hr of easy trek.

Ans: Harishchandragad height is around 1422 mtr 4665 ft. Taramati Peak/Shikhar will be 6th highest point of Maharashtra. But via paachnai route we have to height gain only 1200/1500ft

Ans: Due to multipal route and grade diffrent time span required to reach top. Paachnai route 2hrs, Naalichi vaat 8/9hrs depend upon group size, Makad naal 12-14hrs, khireshwar or junner darwaja 5/6hrs. Harishchadragad Easist route will be paachnai only.

Ans: Basic indian type washroom available at base village but at top of fort no washroom.

Ans: Pre-monsoon which is may to june first week and post monsoon oct mid will be best time to visit but remember in such time rain unpredictable. Prepare for the same.

Ans: Yes entire year it can be possible to visit but be note in winter night camping will be very cold. Temperature down at around 8/9 degrees in top camping area.

Ans: Yes. Most over in year trek is open but in monsoon over a day trek recommended. Night stay not possible in tent due to harsh weather. You have to spend night in caves section which will be very cozy and smelly but if your okay then go for and experience the raw stay.
