We have launched our 4-day Online Technical Training and hands-on Workshop on NGS | Application in Healthcare. It will be an extensive 4-day training program in which every day 90 minutes interactive training sessions will be conducted to give the user a unique learning experience. Day 1: Introduction to NGS, Library preparation, applications, how NGS supports to various clinical specialties, raw data, reference genome, raw data QC.
Day 2: Variant analysis (Whole genome/clinical exome/targeted gene panel).
Day 3: Identification of Differentially Expressed Genes-RNAseq, Count matrix, differentially expressed genes with significance, Data Visualization, Annotation and Gene Ontology
Day 4: Identification of pathogens from metagenome samples, 16sRNA: merging files, removal of chimeras, OUT classification, Species identification, phylogenetic construction, WGS: Assembly construction, genome finishing, annotation, antibiotic resistance gene identification, phylogenetic construction

ABOUT THE RESOURCE PERSON
Dr. Bharti is a biologist by degree, a computational biologist by training & passion, and provides leadership as a role. She handles clinicians and patients and builds strong professional networks. During 18 years of her professional career, she has gained expertise in Molecular Genetics, Transplant Immunology, Hemato-oncology, Cellular Therapies (CAR-T cell therapy/Mesenchymal stem cell therapy/ DC & NK cell therapy) including histocompatibility typing. She has extensive experience in various OMICS platforms for diagnostics and research. She is working as a Senior Technical Associate at BDG Lifesciences (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., India.
