Kareri Lake is a high altitude, shallow, freshwater lake south of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km northwest of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Its surface is 3000 meters above sea level. Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake and a stream, Nyund is the outflow. Since the source is fresh melting snow and the lake is shallow, water visibility is very high.

• The trek goes through the pine forests and crosses several tribal villages on the way.

• Kareri is a Gaddi tribal village.
• Overnight stay in one of the village houses or in tents.

• Trail goes through mixed forests of oak, rhododendron and pine.
• First, 2 Km is a level walk and then there is steep ascent along Kareri Nullah Stream which has to be crossed over a number of times over improvised wooden bridges.
• Overnight stay in tents at bank of Kareri Lake.

• After a short from the lake is a steep descent through the will came back to Kareri Village.
• This will be the last day of the Tour.

Exclusions:

• Drinks, personal expenses, tips, laundry, telephone calls, personal medicines and even expenses incurred due to reasons beyond our control such as bad weather or road blocks due to landslides etc.
• Anything not specified in the itinerary as above.

Cancellation Policy :-

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
• For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.
