About the Workshop
Nature journaling is the practice of exploring and documenting the natural world through observation, writing, and drawing. Combining scientific observation with artistic expression allows people to record their experiences, thoughts, and insights while connecting deeply with the beauty and intricacies of nature.
This workshop starts with a walk on the shore at low tide to get to know the intertidal zone and its inhabitants better. Immerse yourself in the wonders of this dynamic habitat and discover the hidden world of tidepools from colourful sponges, crabs munching on algae to an elusive octopus.
Engage with fellow nature enthusiasts, ask questions, share your stories and insights. This unique workshop blends art and science, fostering a deeper connection to nature and the intertidal zone. Don't miss this opportunity to explore, create, and embrace the beauty of the intertidal zone through the lens of your journal.
