Nandita Das to shed light on her first book ‘Manto & I’ which chronicles the 6 year long journey of making the film Manto at Crossword Bookstores

After her film Manto was released in 2018, Nandita Das set out on creating a book that captures her journey with the film. Nandita Das is all set to launch her book 'Manto & I' at Crossword Bookstores, Juhu on 05th March, 2020.

An engaging evening lies in store as she discusses the book at length and sheds light on her creative, emotional, political, and spiritual experiences of the six years she spent with Manto - a very personal journey. ‘Manto & I’, is a 264-page hardcover book with images from the sets accompanied by text written by her, delving into the “whys” and “hows” of her journey on the making of her film.
