This is a not-for-profit 1.3km guided PHOTO WALK led by SSAURABH CHATTERJEE, an award-winning photographer whose works have been published in several national and international publications, including the National Geographic Traveller. Since 2011, Ssaurabh has trained more than 6000 people across the globe through his Photography Workshops, Photo walks and Photo-tours and online sessions.
Date and Timings: Saturday 31st May, 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm
Age group: 10 years +
Meeting point: 5:10 pm sharp at St. Joseph’s Church, Juhu. Please walk or use public transport since there is no parking nearby.
Route: The 1.3km walk will begin at St. Joseph’s Church, pass through Juhu market, the beach and end at Juhu Mukteshwar Temple (opposite ISKCON)
What to bring?
- A fully charged mobile phone with sufficient storage
- A power bank (optional but recommended)
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Easy summer clothing
- A water bottle
- Sun protection (hat/ sunglasses/ sunscreen)
- Curiosity and creativity!
Included in the ticket: 5:15 to 7:15 pm- a 1.5 to 2-hour guided Photo Walk led by Ssaurabh Chatterjee
Optional and NOT included in the ticket: At the end of the walk, exchange notes and observations over a South Indian meal at Dakshinayan restaurant.
This walk is inspired by the UN SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals) towards 2030. The walk is conceived and sponsored by Shruti Agrawal- an award-winning jewellery designer and Juhu resident currently compiling a photo documentary titled ‘MY JUHU’
