Enjoy the festive lights and join in the C’mas cheer. Explore local history and the origins of St. Joseph’s Church, Juhu, and its parish. Walk through the Gaothans dotted with handmade cribs and savour local sweets and a song or two to celebrate the Christmas spirit
This is a not-for-profit 0.5km guided COMMUNITY WALK led by Lionel Nazreth- a lay minister in active service of the church parish and a keen theologian, with interests in church archaeology
Date and Timings: Friday 26th December, 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm
Meeting point: 5:15 pm sharp in the cemetery courtyard of St. Joseph’s Church, Juhu next to the bus depot. Please walk or use public transport. There is no parking in the vicinity
Route: The 500m walk will begin at Juhu church. Enjoy the special lights and Christmas stars on display. Walk through the two Gaothans, exploring local history and mingling with the local community. The walk will end at the statue of Mother Mary of Vailankani outside Chand society, towards ISKCON temple.

The walk is conceived and sponsored by Shruti Agrawal- an award-winning designer and Juhu resident currently compiling a photo documentary titled ‘MY JUHU’
