What is Maze Orienteering?

Maze Orienteering is a navigation sport where participants traverse an actual maze using a specially designed map to visit a specified set of control points in the correct sequence, negotiating turns, dead-ends, multiple route choices, and at the last some obstacles. A Maze Challenge is a simple yet effective way to get people running around and having fun, developing basic map skills and getting a taste of orienteering. Participants are given a map of a maze that is constructed and will have to navigate around a specified course as quickly as possible.
