# Any requests received before 20th JULY 2026 will be eligible for a 50% refund of event .

# Any requests received after 20th JULY, 2026 will not be eligible for a refund / transfer under any circumstances.

Q) What are the events at Madurai Half Marathon 2023

A) Timed 21K Run. 10K Run only & Non Timed 5 k & 3 km .

Q) When is the Madurai Half Marathon 2023 event? What are the timings?

A) The event is scheduled for Sunday, 16th August 2026.

Timings of the event 5:00 am - 21 km,6 am - 10 km,7am - 3 & 5 km run.

Q) What does the Registration fee cover?

A) The donation covers entry to the event.

Q) Will I get a race day T-shirt?

A) Race Day T-shirt is Not complimentary. The sizes are ordered well in advance. While we try our best to get you the correct size, the organizer's will not be held responsible in case You fill wrong Size of any t-shirt size.

Q) If I register under Early bird offer will I get the same Race kit like other participants?

A) Race kits are the same for all the participants.

Q) Can I register manually (offline)

A) There are no manual (offline) registrations.

Q) Is there a minimum/maximum age to participate/register?

A) For 21k,10K, minimum age to participate is 17 years as on 16th August 2026 ; For 5K, minimum age to participate is 12 years as on 16th August 2026 and 3k minimum age limit is 7 years with under Guardian

Q) What is the last date of registration?

A) We may close the registrations early if all our slots are filled. We request you to register early and not wait till the end. We will announce the dates on our Website, Facebook page and other Social media.

Q) Can I transfer/cancel my registration? Will there be any refund?

A) Requests for participation cancellation, transfer of participation, and thereby refund, will not be entertained 30 days prior to the event date. If you have availed any early bird offer, refund/transfer and cancellation will not be entertained.

Q) Can I change my category once I have registered? For example, if I have registered for 21k,10Km, can I now change to a 5Km event? Or, vice- versa?

Q) Oops! I have made a mistake in one of my registration fields. How do I correct it?

A) Please send an email to rungreenfoundation@gmail.com with the correct details and we will update it.

Q) There was a problem during registration. I have been charged but I did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?

A) Under exceptional cases, in case the transaction failed at the payment gateway stage, and if the money was debited but a confirmation was not generated, the money will be credited back to your account within 3 working days automatically. However, please email rungreenfoundation@gmail.com with details of your registration – date of registration, name and your mail id and we will follow up to ensure the problem is tracked and closed. WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED FOR ENTRY ACCEPTANCE: I declare, confirm and agree as follows: (I) The information given by me in this entry form is true and I am solely responsible for the accuracy of this information. (ii) Have fully understood the risk and responsibility of participating in the event and will be participating entirely at my own risk and responsibility. (iii) It is my understanding that I assume all risks associated with running in events organized by the " Rungreen Foundation”. Having read this waiver, I agree that "Rungreen Foundation.” will not be held liable. I hereby release and discharge " Rungreen Foundation” and its officers and agents from injuries, including death, damage or loss which may occur as a result of my participation in any organized sports events including running and training. (iv) Agree that if I am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment whatsoever, I hereby Irrevocably authorize the event officials and organizers to, at my own risk and cost, transport me to a medical facility and/or to administer emergency medical treatment and l waive all claims that might result from such transport and/or treatment or delay or deficiency therein. I shall pay or reimburse to you my medical and emergency expenses and l hereby authorize/s you to incur the same. (v) I Understand, agree and irrevocably permit " Rungreen Foundation” to share the information given by me in this application, with all/any entries associated with this event, at its own discretion. (vi) I Understand, agree and irrevocably permit " Rungreen Foundation " to my photograph and record (on film, tape, hard drive, or any other method) my performance, appearance, name and/or voice and the results in perpetuity for the purpose of promoting the Event, at its own discretion. I further authorize " Rungreen Foundation " to edit the same at discretion and to include it with performance of other and with sound effects, special effects, music etc. in any manner or media whatsoever, including without limitation, unrestricted use for purpose of publicity, advertising and sales promotion; and to use my name. " Rungreen Foundation” owns all rights to the results and proceeds of my services in connection herewith

Medical Waiver – Yes I Accept 

• I understand that l/my ward must be of, and must train to, an appropriate level of fitness to participate in such a physically demanding event and l/my ward have obtained a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner, allowing me to participate in the event/s. In case of any medical emergency I will not hold the event organizers, the directors, sponsors, employees, contractors or any-one else associated with event liable whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise.

• Participants are requested to consult their family doctor about their current health status and seek the doctor’s affirmation before enrolling in the race. If you have a heart condition, experience chest pain during physical activity or in the past month, or lose consciousness, bone/joint problem, blood pressure, insulin dependent diabetes, or having difficulty in breathing, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your doctor before you apply to participate in the Madurai Half Marathon. 

Please review the following questions before applying:

• Do you have a heart condition and have been advised that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor?

• Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?

• Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness normally or while working out?

• Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be worse while running or working out?

• Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition?

• Are you pregnant?

• Do you have diabetes?

• Do you have difficulty in breathing, especially in any weather conditions?

If any of the above is a concern for you and you have YES as answer we recommend, please seek advice from your doctor before registering for the Madurai Half Marathon

• All communication will be sent to the email id which you have registered with.

• While registering please ensure that all mandatory requirements have been correctly filled (email addresses are correct, Phone numbers are correct) as all communication will be sent to them.

• After registering please wait for 24 hours for the confirmation email to reach you. Ensure you check your junk folder/spam folder for the confirmation email. In case of any query write into rungreenfoundation@gmail.com OR call at 8887608236

• It is mandatory for a Participant to collect their running number personally from the bib expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, they can send a representative to collect running number bib on their behalf.

• While picking up the running no. BIB participants or Representative must carry with him/her a print of the email confirmation sent by us to the participant from Organizers or their agencies.

• The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under with this registration form is at the sole discretion of the event Promoters and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances.

• The city police department reserves the right to cancel permission for the event at any time. In such a situation, or in case the event date or location is changed due to a political rally, natural disaster, or any other event outside the control of the organizers, the organizers will hold the event at the next available and convenient date. In such a case there will be no refund of registration fees.
