Detailed Itinerary (Tentative Timings):

DAY 1 - PUNE
06:00 AM: Reporting At Pune railway station.
06:15 AM: Catch Local Train
07:30 AM: Reach at Malavali Railway Station. Have breakfast.
07:45 AM: Round of important instructions, brief intro session & commencement of the trek.
11:00 AM Reach at top of the fort. explore fort, enjoy beautiful views, Enjoy surroundings, clicking sessions and exploring nearby region.
01:00 PM: Start descending from the top.
02:00 PM: After lunch,Start Traveling back to Pune.
07:00 PM: Reach at Pune.

DAY 1 - MUMBAI

Train timings for Mumbai participants - Indrayani Express

1. 05:40 am - CSMT
2. 05:51 am - Dadar
3. 06:14 am - Thane
4. 06:33 am - Kalyan
5. 07:58 am - Lonavala

08:00 am - Meet at Lonavala station and move towards Malavali by Local Train.
08:45 am - Reach at Malavali and Have breakfast.
09:30 am - Start ascending Lohagad Fort.
11:30 am - Reach at Lohagad top and explore.
02:30 pm - Start descending.
03:00 pm - Reach at Lohagad Wadi and lunch.
04:00 pm - Move to Lonavala Station by jeep.
06:00 pm - Departure for Mumbai / Pune from Lonavala station.

3. Dry snacks you can carry if u feel hungry during travel. (almonds,dates,plum cakes,biscuits,etc.)

Also We do organize customize corporate outings with team building activities.

 Instructions:

1) While walking from the base village to the valley we will make 3-4 small groups so that our volunteers can handle, count and track them easily.

2) No participant should leave his/her group.

3) If anyone leaves their group and faces any problems, then only himself/herself will be responsible.

4) Route can be muddy due to the rain and the terrain can be rough so it is advised to follow instructions and to be in their groups.

5) We will have 3-4 checkpoints. We will take a rest only on those points. It is an important part of the trek to complete our journey in time.

6) Please report on time at the mentioned pick-up point. In the case of any late reporting, we may have a delay to start the journey.

7) Consumption of Alcohol and Smoking is strictly prohibited. If anyone is caught by villagers or by our volunteers then we will take serious action against them.

8) If any uncertain situation occurs due to climatical, travel or any other thing, organizer is not responsible for that and further arrangements are chargeable. Fireflies is natural phenomenon.

9) There will be a long gap between breakfast and lunch so you can carry dry snacks like plum cake, wafers, almonds, etc. with you.

10) Carry sufficient amounts of water with you as per daily need.

 Cancellation Policy

We understand the disappointment of cancelling a trek after months of preparation. That's why we have a traveller-friendly cancellation policy.

Pending Payment Policy:

 * Complete your pending payment 5 days before departure.

 * Failure to pay the second instalment may result in booking cancellation and loss of advance payment.

 * Boarding will be denied for non-payment, and the seat will be reassigned.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

For Backpacking Expeditions and Long Treks (More than 4 nights):

 * 30+ days before the trek: Full refund in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon or monetary refund with a 15% cancellation charge.

 * 20-30 days before the trek: 80% refund in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon or monetary refund with a 50% cancellation charge.

 * Less than 20 days before the trek: No monetary refund; 50% in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon.

 * Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.

 * If unwell: No refund; find a replacement if needed.

For Sahyadri Treks/Camping and Weekend Backpacking Trips:

 * 30+ days before the trek: Full refund in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon or monetary refund with a 15% cancellation charge.

 * 20-30 days before the trek: 80% refund in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon or monetary refund with a 50% cancellation charge.

 * Less than 20 days before the trek: No monetary refund; 20% in a Gadvede Trekkers coupon if fully paid.

 * Ticket transfer: 20% surcharge, subject to the organiser's decision.

 * No-show or illness: No refund; find a replacement if needed.

 * Advance Booking amount: Non-refundable.

Important Note: Trek Insurance, train cancellation, and agent charges are non-refundable if the trek is cancelled within 6 days before departure. No refund 15 days before NY and Christmas events.

If We Cancel a Trek:

 * Natural calamities or unrest: No refund if the trip has started.

* Before departure: Full refund except for train and bus cancellations.

 * Sahyadri treks: Opt for event shift or full refund if cancelled due to low participation.

 * Medical emergencies or COVID: Regular cancellation policy applies.

 * Transport issues: Alternate arrangements made; participants bear costs.

Trip Delays and Connecting Transport Failures:

Gadvede Trekkers will assist with alternate arrangements for delays but participants bear the costs.
