Chandni Ravani is an alumni of the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) School of Business, Pune. She has also pursued her credit courses in Psychology from Harvard University, Boston, U.S.A. Having been into multiple roles, her zeal for having a self made venture found its existence when she coupled up with her friend for ideating and establishing S.U.T.R.A. 

SUTRA, Ahmedabad based Design label, translates the Pride of Hereditary Craft into alluring hand made creations. Textiles that are destined for the trash are adapted, nurtured and up-cycled by the artisans from fair trade supporting organisations to create exquisite, one-of-a- kind garments. They partner with the artisan community that comprises of sex trafficking victims, victims of domestic violence, orphans and every other person who despite having a dreadful past, has learnt & is learning to live in the present by capitalizing on their strengths and exploring the joy of creativity.
