Korean Cultural Centre India organized Exhibition ‘Life of Joy IV & Grillanda III’ which gives peace to heart, mind and soul through its colorful spring season essence. The bold strokes of bright colors on the canvas brought the spring season live on the walls. 19 students of KCCI painting class from Korea, India and Japan have participated in the exhibition. One can enjoy this exhibition till 11th May 2018.

Artist Shibani Kathuria presented 3 artworks which talked about harmony and balance present in nature. She presented it through the story of a flower vendor of Kashmir, Love shown through the painting of Radha Krishna and an abstract work. The use of dark couloirs in background and bold colors in foreground depicted balance in nature.

Artist Chun Hye Jin shared a message of peaceful life and good future through her art work ‘Bom Bom Bom’ which means spring. She wishes that everyone should welcome the warmth of summer in life with beautiful colors.

Artist Kyoung suk Cho has presented 3 artworks.  Two of the paintings shared her memories of Spain. Her third work showcased her inner thoughts of pain through ‘Tears of Rose’. She says Rose is very gorgeous and is adored everywhere but inside it has sadness.

This is the fourth year exhibition and the participating students were trained for more than a year. Within the span of two months of time students were able to show their painting abilities, said Art Teacher Song Cha Nyang. The themes of each painting chosen by the participating students may give a feel of spring and calmness in life.

Kim Kum Pyoung, director Korean Cultural Centre India congratulated students and teachers for the success of their learning journey. He expressed his happiness for nurturing talents excelling in fine arts.

The other art works present are The Yellow Village by Heejung Park, Red_Be by Jungeun Lim, Bright Afternoon by Jeongae Choi, Women In India by Eunyoung Jung, Forest by Hyojin Jeong, Spring by Jungmi Cho, The Agape by Eunyeong Jang and Untittle by Hyunjeong Huh.
