My workshop will be for 2 hours for a maximum of 10 children between the ages of 10 and 14 years. It will introduce children to a few poetic forms and focus on the children’s self-expression. The workshop will use playful word exercises to explore rhythm, imagery and metaphor in poetry, and encourage children to write from their own experiences and context.
