Kotagiri Hilltation

The beautiful Kotagiri is a hill station located in the lap of the Nilgiri hills. Snuggled at the towering height of 1985 m above sea level, it is a pleasant mountain getaway. The name Kotagiri translates to 'mountains of the Kotas'. The Nilgiri hills have been the traditional home of the Kota tribe.

About the Campsite:

Located at an altitude of 1700 meters, surrounded by lush green tea gardens, Strategically located away from all hustle bustles and crowds, this place offers peace, tranquility and something more for everyone!

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive at Mysore by 8 am. Get picked up by our representative and start for Kotagiri hills. Reach the campsite and get welcomed by refreshments. After a while, have lunch, relax a bit and start Trekking to Kallar Valley, Ridge walking, Cave watching, bath at pond. Come back to the campsite and relax under bonfire with music and camp in alpine tents under stars and amidst a mountain valley. Enjoy some good bbq dinner.

Day 2

Wake up really early in the morning, have tea/coffee, freshen up and go for a short trek to the nearby waterfalls. Come back soon and start back to Mysore. On the way back, visit Ooty. If the time permits, on the way, stop at Bandipur and take a game safari and spot some tigers.

Reach Mysore by night and take a bus/flight back

Note: Buses from Mysore start by 7:00 pm. So, we have to make sure we reach by 6:30 pm. If you are planning to take a flight, please book a night flight which is after 9 to allow time for check in etc.

Buses from Hyderabad to Mysore timings are between 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Please make sure you reach Mysuru by 8 am.

Reach back Home

These prices are subject to change.  

For booking or reserving a slot, a traveler needs to pay INR 2000/- per head as booking amount which is non refundable. Rest of the amount should be paid at least 5 days before departure date and rest at the time of departure. After payment intimate us at the given contact.

After payment, your booking will get confirmed. Confirmation & booking receipt will be sent via mail through Townscript.

We refund 80% of the amount if canceled 15 days prior to the booking date.

Within 15 days, 50% will be refunded.If canceled within 7 days, no refund
