Kota Cycling Community invites you all for its third edition of the national-level event in the name of Kota Ka Duathlon Champion 3.0
(An online challenge of running and cycling based on endomondo and strava)
◆ 60k running + 300k cycling from 15 July to 14 August (31 days)
◆ All finishers/qualifiers/winners will get a 3-D medal and finisher e-certificate.
◆ It's a national level challenge where 16+ age onward can participate.
◆ Minimum 2 km and a maximum of 15 km running in a day will be considered for the challenge.
◆ Minimum 10 km and a maximum of 50 km cycling in a day will be considered for the challenge. Although 5 times 100k are allowed in cycling in a month.
◆ There are 4 categories 1) Male 2) females 3) Sr. Citizens and 4) Super Sr. Citizens.
◆ Open Category (Includes all males below 50 years age.
Total Prizes: 10 or 5% of total category participants (whichever is higher)
Qualifying Pace for running: 9.5min/km
Qualifying Speed for Cycling: 14k/hour
◆ Female category (Includes all females up to 50 years age)
Total Prizes: 05 or 5% of total category participants (whichever is higher)
Qualifying Pace for running: 11min/km
Qualifying Speed for Cycling: 12k/hour
◆ Sr. Citizen (Includes all 50+ males and females)
Total Prizes: 03 or 5% of total category participants (whichever is higher)
Qualifying Pace for running: 11min/km
Qualifying Speed for Cycling: 12k/hour
Females of this category will get a multiplying factor of 1.4x only in km but minimum qualifying km shall be the same.
◆ 60+ Super Sr. Citizen
Sr. Citizen (Includes all 60+ males and females)
Total Prizes: 02 or 5% of total category participants (whichever is higher)
Qualifying Pace for running: 13min/km
Qualifying Speed for Cycling: 12k/hour
Females of this category will get a multiplying factor of 1.4x only in km but minimum qualifying km shall be the same.
◆ Every 1 running km = 3 km of cycling for calibration of km.
◆ Minimum 15 days workout (Including running and cycling).
◆ Multiple workouts in a day are allowed but each running workout should be of minimum 2 km and each cycling workout should be of 10 km and should also be qualifying the pace and speed required as per rules but the upper limit of workout is intact.
◆ The promoter of the event shall be awarded to best 3 promoters (excluding board members)
◆ Any change in rules may be done by organizers considering the best of the situational solution without getting being biased with proper prior intimation before the event starts.
◆ Registered members shall be added to separate WhatsApp groups based on their choice of the platform of data recording.
