Founded in recent past by a group of young entrepreneurs, Confederation enables business owners to learn from each other, leading to greater business success and an enriched personal life.

We educate, we transform, we inspire and we offer invaluable resources in the form of national events, leadership-development programs, an online entrepreneur forum and executive education opportunities, among other offerings designed for personal and professional growth.

Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur is one of the largest non-profit student-run entrepreneurial organizations which aims to ignite the entrepreneurial spark among students and professionals. We work towards providing the students enough knowledge and opportunities, thereby nurturing them towards the cradle of innovative startups to buckle them up for the challenges ahead. We conduct various flagship events around the calendar which include Global Entrepreneurship Summit, Kharagpur Angel Network (An exclusive angel/seed funding platform for the IIT Kharagpur startup community), Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive and many more.

Entrepreneurship awareness drive(EAD) is a massive PAN India drive of Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur aimed at cultivating the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. Started in 2009 with 10 cities across India, the drive has come a long way since then. The last edition of EAD was conducted in 22 cities across the nation and witnessed a footfall of over 28000 startup enthusiasts. EAD has, over the years helped a lot of startups to accelerate their growth, and has received accolades by personalities such as Dr. Shashi Tharoor and Dr. D. Subbarao.

The Kolkata chapter of EAD 2018 is an formal invitation from Ecell, IIT Kharagpur and CIMSME to you. You will get an opportunity to connect with other startups, showcase yourself infornt of a massive audience, interact with our guests who are doing great in startup ecosystem. The tentative date for EAD Kolkata is 9 October at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata.The event is being conducted in association with CIMSME as our outreach partner.

The event is methodically structured and will be hugely productive for startups of all domains. A lot of real-life problems that a startup faces in its course of a journey will be addressed and discussed in the event by successful Entrepreneurs, Startup evangelist, Influencers. The agenda will be to come up with constructive and practical solutions that can be implemented with ease.
