About the Conference
The Kolkata Cancer Summit – 2027 is envisioned as a focused, high-level scientific meeting bringing together leading oncologists, cancer researchers, clinicians, surgeons, radiation specialists, pathologists, molecular scientists, academicians, and healthcare innovators to explore the rapidly changing landscape of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Organised as a flagship event of the World Cancer Congress, the Kolkata Cancer Summit will provide a dedicated platform for the oncology community of Eastern India to engage with emerging science, exchange clinical experience, and discuss the technologies and therapeutic approaches that are shaping the future of cancer care.
The Summit will place science at the centre of the programme, with particular emphasis on precision oncology, immunotherapy, antibody–drug conjugates, cellular therapies, liquid biopsy, ctDNA, artificial intelligence, early cancer detection, next-generation radiation, precision surgery, and advanced metastatic cancer management.
These areas reflect the direction in which contemporary cancer research is moving. Current major oncology programmes are giving substantial attention to precision medicine, CAR-T and mRNA-based approaches, AI, liquid biopsy, and emerging targeted therapies such as ADCs.
Focus of the Conference
Concentrating on what is changing in cancer care today—and what is likely to change it tomorrow.
