KD MARATHON 2019

Welcome to the first edition of KD Marathon.KD Hospital (Kusum Dhirajlal Hospital) is a multi/super speciality hospital located at the prime location of Ahmedabad under the aegis of Shri Harihar Maharaj Kamdhenu Gausevashram Dharmik Trust (SHKGDT).

No place has seen the human endurance like a hospital.

The will power, the grit, the tenacity of staying on course and the power of preparation aided by the medical science has achieved remarkable stories of survival & success...

At KD Hospital we salute this human spirit and to pay our respects, we are celebrating it with an event that matches the grit and  the glory of human spirit like nothing else can; KD Marathon !

On the sports field, Marathon is one true test of human endurance and capacity to push the body to its max fighting ability.  

At KD Hospital, we wish to take our responsibility of healthcare to the next level by anticipating where the damage control has to be done and now !

So to begin our fight against lifestyle diseases, we have chosen to focus on Diabetes, one of the key widespread healthcare concerns of today. We are beginning with an awareness drive on Diabetes, #OutRun Diabetes, led by our flagship Marathon on Sunday 10th November 2019.

This shall be one of its kind Marathon, with participation from all the sectors of society, including our Defense Forces, Police  Department, Corporate Entities.Our race categories include Half Marathon, 10 Km, and 5 Km Run.

I am voluntarily participating in an KD Hospital Event (KD Marathon 2019 ) with complete knowledge of the associated risks, and I agree to accept responsibility for all risks of injury. By signing this Waiver and Release, I declare that I am medically able, properly trained, physically fit and capable of participating in a race, and that my medical care provider has approved my participation. I agree to independently consult my physician in the event of any injuries or medical questions arising from or related to my participation in the KD Marathon 2019 (KD Hospital Event).I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses on my behalf. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the KD Marathon 2019 (an KD Hospital Event) I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless to the KD Hospital Team. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon our heirs, assigns, and legal representatives. I hereby grant my consent and permission to KD Marathon 2019 (an KD Hospital Event), its Partner organizations, and employees to use any and all information submitted in my application, and/or my name, photograph, videotape, motion picture recording, voice or likeness for any purpose, including pre-race and post-race publicity.
