Join the Guardians of Nature campaign on a meaningful journey to Kamandurg Fort. Nestled in the lush terrain of Palghar, this fort offers a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and purpose. The initiative aims to promote plastic-free trekking, preserve our historical forts, and build environmental responsibility among participants.
This monthly trek is part of our year-long campaign to clean and protect 12 forts across Maharashtra. The Kamandurg trek is your chance to contribute to the mission while enjoying the thrill of hiking and community bonding.
Schedule:
Reporting Time: 5.00 AM at Outplay Sports Foundation, Kandivali
Return Time: 6.00 PM (approximate)
Itinerary:
05.00 AM - Assemble at Kandivali and depart by AC bus
07.30 AM - Arrive at base village, breakfast provided
08.00 AM - Trek briefing and warm-up
08.30 AM - Trek to Kamandurg Fort with guides
11.00 AM - Reach summit, rest and regroup
11.30 AM - Plastic-free drive, collect litter in groups
12.30 PM - Descend to base
02.00 PM - Lunch at Seva Vivek Kendra
04.00 PM - Depart for Mumbai
06.00 PM - Return to Outplay Sports Foundation
