About Kaas Plateau

A UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, Kaas is famously known as the “Valley of Flowers of Maharashtra.” Every monsoon, this plateau comes alive with a breathtaking carpet of seasonal wildflowers, rare orchids, and endemic species, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.

Things to Pack

* Good quality Shoes/floaters 

* Small Sack (Backpack) is Mandatory – Side Bags to be Avoided. 

* Changing Clothes (Unless for sudden rain). 

* One liter water Bottle compulsory 

* Camera, Binoculars

* Personal medicine, if any.

* And A BIG SMILE.

Itinerary

05:15 AM – Reporting at Karve Putala, Pune.

05:30 AM – Depart for Kaas Plateau.

07:00 AM – Breakfast enroute.

09:00 AM – Reach Kaas; guided exploration with a Naturalist from Kancha Outdoors.

01:00 PM – Depart for lunch.

01:30 PM – Enjoy a delicious lunch.

02:30 PM – Depart to Pune.

04:00 PM – Evening Hi-tea enroute.

06:00 PM – Arrive at Pune.
