Katraj to Sinhgad (K2S) Night trek

Katraj To Sinhgad (K2S) is popular night trek, Its a great trek to test your endurance and fitness as it cover series of hills (14 approx) with a total distance of aprrox 16 Kms. 

Witness a magnificent view of citylights pune, valleys with different shades of nature while feeling a fresh breeze brushing through your face as you conquer a mountain infront of you as well as mountain within you. 

Difficulty Level: Hard (Slipery descends, total distance covered and ups and downs)

Time Taken: 8-9 Hrs ( Approx.)

Things to Carry:

- At least 3 lts of water per person, as there is no water available on this route. (Carry 1 ltr of Glucon-D mixed water).

- Trekking shoes with good grip is must.

- Carry your own food, snacks, tiffen.

- Torch with extra pair of batteries. 

- Raincoat or Rain Jackets (Avoid Umbrella)

Itinerary:

8:30 to 8:45 PM  - Meeting at Swargate Bus Stand Near "Chatrapati Shahu maharaj Two Wheeler Parking"

9:05 PM - Departure from meeting point to Trek Start Point in Public Transport.

9:45 PM - Introduction, trek briefing and stretching.

10:00 to 10:15 PM - Starting trek 

2:00 to 3:00 AM - Major break 

6:00 to 6:30 AM - Let your camera work and capture amazing sunrise through hills - photography time

7:00 to 7:30 AM - reach base of Sinhagad Fort, get tea/dahi/taak

7:30 AM - back to pune through public transport till Katraj
