Grassroutes brings to you the chance to understand the JOURNEY OF FOOD - from the seed to the soil, to the farm, to the market, to your plate... 

Where - At a Vasai village (30 minutes from Mumbai)
When - Sundays, 17 Dec, 7 Jan and 21 Jan
* Only 15 registrations per Sunday*

The Schedule - 

6.30 AM - Meet at Vasai Station
6.45 AM - Visit the local vegetable market
7.30 AM - Reach Village
8.00 AM - Walk to the farm, start your day's work with a hot cup of tea and get to the job. Work with a farmer on the field - 
- pick/sow vegetables
- clear the field for sowing
- lend a hand at weeding
(activities depends on season and crop)
10.30 AM - Head back to the city

Registration charges - Rs. 799 per person
For age group - 12 years onwards.
