Independance Day Trek to Kalsubai

Mt. Kalsubai is the highest point of Maharashtra, providing a million dollar view. Kalsubai can be climbed in 4 hrs without any technical equipment. On the summit you will see a small temple of Devi Kalsubai. Monsoon is the best time for trekking at Kalsubai.

14th Aug night pickup

23:00 - Pickup from Andheri, JVLR, Thane. We might take a break at Dhaba near Kasara.

15th Aug

04:00 - Reach base village. Have an introduction and start trekking. 

06:00 - Continue trekking in the twilight. Breakfast on the way

08:00 - Reach summit and enjoy the views

09:00 - Start descending

12:00 - Reach base village and have lunch.

14:00 - Depart for Mumbai. Dropping points same as pickup

18:00 - Reach Mumbai

 Includes:

 - Travel from Mumbai to Kalsubai and back in a non-AC bus

 - Breakfast

 - Lunch

 - Tea, Nimbu Pani etc.

 - First aid and expertise charge

Excludes:

 - Bottled water/cold drinks

 - Anything not mentioned in ‘Includes’

Things to carry:

 - At least 2 litre water (preferably in personal reusable bottles)

 - A good quality torch (other than mobiles)

 - Good trekking shoes or sport shoes

 - Waterproof Jacket (windy at top)

 - A backpack to put everything. Sling bag not allowed

 - We appreciate participants carrying healthy foods like dry fruits, juice packets, Energy bar etc.
